Flower Delivery to Lužice from a Nearby Hodonín Florist
Lužice was named Village of the Year for the South Moravian Region in 2009 and lies 4 km southwest of Hodonín. The first written mention of the village dates to 1250. In 2025, the village had 2,894 inhabitants; it also has a railway station on the Přerov–Břeclav line.
The Church of Saints Cyril and Methodius was completed in 1874 and is the village's landmark. Lignite mines operated in Lužice from 1840 to 1931, and a large glassworks operated there from 1870 to 1933.
