Vrbice lies about 12 km southeast of Hustopeče in the Břeclav District. The village was first mentioned in 1222 and had 1,076 residents in 2025. The Vrbice Museum occupies the village’s oldest building, the former town hall dating from 1872, and mainly displays local folk costumes.
